Junior Architect - Java

Seeking a Junior Architect with expertise in enterprise architecture and governance for financial systems. Candidates should have strong experience working with financial instruments, market risk, and large-scale distributed computing systems. This role involves handling permits to design, build, and architecture review boards; portfolio architecture; and all governance tasks for risk calculations, trade analytics, compliance, and regulatory reporting.

Responsibilities:

• Works with architects, engineers, and stakeholders on governance.
• Enforcing Standards: Establishing policies, standards, and guidelines for technology, data, and processes, ensuring adherence.
• Conducting and participating in architecture reviews and audits to ensure projects align with the established framework and, if necessary, enforcing compliance.
• Fostering collaboration among stakeholders, ensuring accountability, and maintaining the relevance of the enterprise architecture.

Requirements:

• Technologies: Java, Angular, React, J2EE, Oracle DB.
• 6+ years of overall relevant software development.
• 1 to 2 years' experience in solutions architecture, governance, and terminology.
• Good communication skills.
• Banking/financial/payment experience.
• Knowledge of building solutions with domain-driven design (DDD), API, microservices, event-driven architecture, and cloud-native principles.
