TheWarehouse & Logistics Associate is responsible for a variety of critical tasks, including shipping, receiving, storing, and distributing products, materials, and supplies. You'll play a key role in ensuring smooth order fulfillment by accurately maintaining records, processing shipments, sorting packages, and handling deliveries. Additionally, you will package a range of parts of varying sizes and weights, ensuring they are carefully prepared for customers and delivered in excellent condition.

What you will be doing:

• Inspect and Verify Deliveries: Ensure that all incoming shipments are accurate and complete by matching items with purchase orders, invoices, and packing lists
• Check the condition of the received items to identify any damage or discrepancies
• Log the received items into the inventory system, record quantities, item descriptions, and any other necessary details and properly label and tag received goods
• Unload deliveries from trucks or containers
• Retrieve the correct items from the inventory based on customer orders and prepare them for shipment. This includes packing goods securely for transportation
• Generate and verify shipping labels, bill of lading, and other required documents for outbound shipments and coordinate with transportation services (e.g., freight, couriers) to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of orders
• Monitor the progress of outgoing shipments, ensuring they reach their destinations on time and resolve any issues
• Input data into the inventory management system, ensuring that all movements (in and out) are recorded accurately
• Help maintain an organized warehouse by categorizing items and ensuring that goods are stored efficiently for easy access and accurate retrieval
• Communicate with shipping companies, internal customers, and external customers effectively
• Maintain data integrity through consistent procedures and processes.
• Research shipping/receiving issues and solve problems efficiently
• Loads and unloads trucks and move materials within the warehouse
• Responsible for compliance with all quality management systems as applicable
• Working with internal teams to ensure inventory integrity
• Ensure Compliance, verify that all items meet safety, regulatory, and company quality standards before being shipped or received
• Maintains accurate manual and electronic records
• Consider ways to improve systems and propose procedural changes
• Prepares internal documentation that may involve multiple departments
• Implementation of hazardous material requirements to include labeling
• Supports overall site goals and needs by moving product, operating powered equipment, counting inventory, participating in projects that better the overall company and site.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures
• Attend all required company training

• Maintain Stock Levels: Ensure accurate inventory levels by performing regular checks, stocktaking, and coordinating with other departments for reorders or restocking.
• Other Responsibilities as assigned by the department or manager

Must have for this role:

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• 2-4 years’ experience in shipping and receiving position
• Experience in Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, etc.)
• Experience in Oracle Inventory Module
• Experience working with transportation management system/s
• Advanced knowledge FedEx, UPS and computers
• Self starter, highly motivated and high attention to detail
• Job requires reading, math, computer and good communication skills
• Ability to work well with others
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• 2+ years’ experience working with shipping and receiving equipment (i.e. pallet jack, scale, packaging)
• Forklift certified

Nice to have:

• 5-10 years of experience in warehousing, shipping and receiving functions
• 2-4 years in role leading shipping and receiving operations
• 2-4 years of experience in logistics/transportation operations
• History of continuous improvement
