Data Engineer

Role Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned Data Engineer to join our high-growth team in Gurgaon. In this role, you will be responsible for architecting, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines that serve as the backbone of our analytical infrastructure. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Data Scientists, Product Managers, and Business Stakeholders, to translate complex business requirements into robust data solutions. By ensuring high data availability and integrity, you will directly influence strategic decision-making and drive operational efficiency across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and implement complex ETL processes to integrate disparate data sources, ensuring seamless data flow for downstream analytics and reporting.

- Develop and optimize advanced SQL queries and stored procedures to support high-performance data retrieval and complex business logic execution.

- Architect scalable data models that align with business objectives, ensuring data consistency and accessibility for end-users.

- Collaborate with engineering teams to automate data workflows, reducing manual intervention and improving overall system reliability.

- Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline performance, proactively addressing bottlenecks to maintain optimal system health and data quality standards.

Tech Stack:

- Primary Skills: SQL, AWS, Data Modeling, ETL, Data Pipelines

- Key AWS Services: EMR, Glue, Kinesis, ECS

- Big Data Technologies: Spark, Kafka

- Programming Languages: Python, Scala, or Java

- DevOps & Automation: CI/CD, Jenkins, Terraform

- Database Knowledge: Relational and NoSQL databases

- Exposure to: Gen AI / Agentic AI

Requirements:

- Demonstrated expertise in Python for data manipulation and automation, combined with a deep understanding of advanced SQL for complex data transformation and analysis.

- Proven ability to design and implement efficient data modeling strategies that support large-scale enterprise data warehouses.

- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders and cross-functional partners.

- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field, reflecting a strong foundation in data structures and algorithms.

- Ability to thrive in a hybrid work environment in Delhi NCR, balancing independent problem-solving with collaborative team efforts.

- Minimum 7 - 9 years of hands-on experience in data engineering, with a track record of delivering high-impact data solutions in fast-paced environments.
