Job Summary
The Senior FP&A Analyst, APAC is a strategic finance business partner responsible for planning, forecasting, reporting, and business performance management across the APAC region. This role provides actionable financial insights, supports decision-making, and drives process improvements to help achieve business growth and profitability objectives.
Reporting to the Senior FP&A Manager, APAC, the role partners closely with regional leadership, country finance teams, and US Corporate Finance. This is a highly visible individual contributor position requiring strong analytical, business partnering, and stakeholder management capabilities.
What You Will Do
Financial close, Forecasting and Budgeting process
- Deliver timely, accurate and insightful actual close reporting - from variance analysis and commentary to coordinating local and global finance deliverables
- Turn actuals financials results into a clear narrative for senior management: what happened, why it matters and what to do next
- Lead the APAC quarterly forecast and annual budget end to end - templates, guidance, timelines, data loads, system support, analysis of forecast and stakeholder follow-through.
- Spot and implement ways to make the planning process more efficient
Reporting & Business Partnering
- Own standard reporting with a high bar of accuracy, timeliness and data integrity across different reporting and data platforms
- Enhance regional reporting capabilities and proactively identifying opportunities for automation and process improvements
- Lead ad hoc analysis - divisional P&L profitability, pricing and other work that shapes real business decisions
- Support global FP&A transformation and finance process improvement projects
Stakeholder Communication and Management
- Effectively communicates relevant information to stakeholders, including the country finance teams, HKFC (Hong Kong Finance Center) and the APAC FP&A team
- Resolves and/or escalates issues in a timely fashion
- Handle confidential and sensitive financial information with professionalism and discretion
What You Need
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or a related discipline
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in FP&A, Commercial Finance, or Financial Analysis, ideally within a multinational organization supporting regional or APAC finance operations
- Solid grounding in accounting principles, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Advanced Excel skills, including financial modelling and data analysis
- Hand-on experience using Hyperion/HFM, Encompass, Oracle, SAP, Anaplan or similar financial reporting and planning tools
- Hand-on experience with Power BI or other visualization tools preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the track record of translating data into meaningful business insights
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presenting to senior stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
- Proven experience driving automation, reporting enhancement, and process improvement initiatives
- Experience supporting a multi-country APAC business within a multinational organization
- Proven success driving FP&A transformation, reporting automation, or finance process improvement initiatives
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar business intelligence tools
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to influence strategic business decisions
- Demonstrated ability to partner effectively with senior leadership in a matrixed organization
