We’re looking for an MBA intern to join us for 10 weeks next summer. You’ll work directly with senior investors across live deals, evaluate companies and founders, develop an original investment thesis, and contribute to real investment decisions.

This role requires an on-site presence 4 days a week in our Boston or San Francisco office.

Responsibilities

  • Build an investment thesis: Develop conviction around an emerging market, map the landscape, identify the companies that matter, and present your recommendation to the investment team.
  • Source: Find exceptional founders and companies before everyone else does.
  • Invest: Evaluate live opportunities through market research, competitive analysis, financial modeling, customer diligence, and investment memos.
  • Build with AI: Use AI aggressively in your own work and help us rethink how an investment team can use it across research, sourcing, diligence, and portfolio work.

Qualifications

  • MBA student graduating in 2028
  • 3+ years of experience in investing, startups, technology, consulting, banking, operating roles, or another analytically rigorous environment
  • Exceptional analytical judgment and the ability to quickly develop a point of view
  • Deep curiosity about technology, startups, and how the physical world is changing
  • High agency and comfort creating structure from ambiguity
  • Strong communicator who can turn complex analysis into clear, compelling investment perspectives

Working Conditions

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit for long periods of time; talk or hear; perform fine motor, hand and finger skills in the use of a keyboard, telephone, or writing. The employee is frequently required to stands; walk; and reach with arms and/or hands. Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. The employee will spend their time in an office environment with a quiet to moderate noise level. Job site walking.
