Engineering Sales Representative

Location: Nairobi, Kenya

Job Summary

• We are seeking a results-driven Engineering Sales Representative to market and sell engineering products, equipment and technical services. The successful candidate will identify business opportunities, develop client relationships and drive revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities within the engineering and industrial sectors.
• Market and sell engineering products, equipment and technical solutions.
• Identify potential clients, including contractors, manufacturers, factories and construction companies.
• Prepare quotations, proposals and sales presentations.
• Conduct client visits, product demonstrations and technical presentations.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
• Negotiate sales agreements and follow up on customer orders.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities and emerging business opportunities.
• Achieve monthly sales targets and prepare regular sales reports.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, Sales & Marketing or a related field.
• At least 2–3 years experience in engineering or technical sales.
• Knowledge of engineering products, industrial equipment or technical services.
• Strong business development, negotiation and presentation skills.
• Ability to identify and develop B2B sales opportunities.
• Excellent communication and customer relationship management skills.
• Valid driving licence will be an added advantage.
• Self-driven, target-oriented and willing to travel for client visits.
