Job Description:

A Product Owner creates the product roadmap and defines the strategic vision for their team based on the overall organization’s vision. The role is responsible for managing the product backlog, driving strategic enhancements, resolving critical client-impacting issues, and coordinating cross-functional teams to improve digital client experience and operational efficiency.

This role requires strong ownership, execution discipline, stakeholder management, and the ability to balance business priorities, technology constraints, operational impacts, and client experience. The role will oversee 5 squads composed of 80+ cross-functional resources across Product, Engineering, Architecture, Quality Engineer, Transformation, and Experience Design teams, while also providing operational oversight for the Client Technical Support Team responsible for frontline client support channels including calls, emails, chat, and client app registration support.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage the product roadmap, priorities, and backlog for the client portal.
• Drive resolution of major production issues and client-impacting defects with urgency and accountability
• Coordinate with Operations, CX, Data, Architecture, Compliance, and business stakeholders to deliver solutions end-to-end
• Define business requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and success metrics
• Ensure platform stability, client experience, and operational readiness during releases and migrations
• Manage tradeoffs across scope, timelines, risks, and resource constraints
• Lead governance discussions, status reporting, executive updates, and stakeholder alignment
• Monitor platform performance, client feedback, operational pain points, and adoption metrics to identify improvement opportunities
• Support migration, registration, authentication, and access management initiatives

• Partner with vendors and delivery teams to ensure quality, accountability, and committed delivery timelines

Qualification

• 5+ years experience in Product Management, Product Ownership, Digital Transformation, or related roles
• Experience managing digital platforms, client portals, or servicing applications
• Strong understanding of Agile delivery, backlog management, and sprint execution
• Experience handling production issues, defects, and cross-functional delivery coordination
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, including executive-level reporting
• Ability to operate in fast-paced, high-accountability environments with competing priorities
• Experience in financial services, insurance, banking, or regulated industries is an advantage
• Familiarity with client onboarding, authentication, registration, access management, or servicing workflows is preferred
