Job Description :
Role & Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and support enterprise-grade software applications using Java 8+, Spring Boot, REST APIs, Python, and microservices.
- Participate in the complete SDLC, including requirements analysis, application design, development, testing, deployment, production support, and continuous improvement.
- Develop scalable and resilient applications with strong focus on performance, security, reliability, and operational stability.
- Design and implement RESTful APIs, microservices, database solutions, and application components for large-scale enterprise environments.
- Work with SQL, stored procedures, views, and query optimization to build and maintain reliable data-driven applications.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or equivalent.
- Leverage enterprise-authorized AI development tools and frameworks such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor AI, Claude Code, LangChain, Spring AI, or equivalent to improve coding, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation.
- Critically review and validate AI-generated code and outputs for correctness, performance, security, maintainability, and production readiness.
- Follow responsible AI practices, ensuring appropriate handling of sensitive enterprise data, security, privacy, and AI-generated outputs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, architects, developers, testers, and business stakeholders in an Agile environment.
- Contribute to technical design, code reviews, troubleshooting, production support, and continuous engineering improvements.
- Support applications operating in large-scale enterprise and highly regulated environments, with preference for Payments/CIB platforms.
Preferred Candidate Profile :
- 3+ years of hands-on software engineering experience in a large corporate/enterprise environment.
- Strong production experience with Java 8+, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and microservices.
- Minimum 2 years of production-grade Python development with demonstrated project-level usage.
- Strong knowledge of SQL, stored procedures, views, database design, and query optimization.
- Hands-on experience with system design, application development, testing, CI/CD, resiliency, security, and production support.
- Proven professional experience using AI-assisted software development tools, such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor AI, Claude Code, Spring AI, LangChain, or equivalent.
- Ability to evaluate, validate, refine, and secure AI-generated code and solutions rather than relying on AI output without review.
- Experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or equivalent CI/CD technologies.
- Experience working in enterprise-scale, regulated, or highly complex technology environments.
- Payments, banking, CIB, financial services, or other regulated-domain experience is highly preferred.
- Exposure to AWS, Azure, GCP, or PCF is preferred.
- Experience with React or Angular is an added advantage.
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or an equivalent engineering discipline, with required formal software-engineering training/certification where applicable.
