Pay: $32-$42 per hour DOE + Per Diem
Position Type: Long-Term Opportunity
Superior Skilled Trades is seeking experienced Process Operator Specialists for a long-term industrial project in Starbase, TX. Qualified candidates should have hands-on experience operating, monitoring, maintaining, and troubleshooting industrial equipment and automated process systems.
Job Responsibilities
Monitor equipment performance and process parameters to identify and correct operational issues.
Troubleshoot, maintain, and calibrate compressors, control valves, instrumentation, and process equipment.
Operate and maintain industrial mechanical and electrical systems.
Work with engineers and technicians to support equipment installation, repairs, and system improvements.
Read and interpret P&IDs, electrical schematics, and technical drawings.
Assist with developing and following standard operating procedures.
Maintain equipment inventory, spare parts, and maintenance records.
Follow OSHA safety procedures, including lockout/tagout and hot work requirements.
Requirements
4+ years of experience in plant operations, control room operations, industrial maintenance, millwright support, or instrumentation/electrical operations with a high school diploma or equivalent; OR
Associate degree in mechanical or electrical engineering technology with 2+ years of relevant automated process experience.
Experience operating and troubleshooting industrial process equipment.
Knowledge of temperature, pressure, flow, and other process parameters.
Ability to read P&IDs and electrical schematics.
Experience with compressors, control systems, instrumentation, or industrial machinery preferred.
Familiarity with 120V, 480V, and 4160V electrical systems preferred.
Must be comfortable working outdoors, climbing ladders, and operating lifts at heights exceeding 100 feet.
Flexible availability for day or night shifts and weekends as needed.
Must meet applicable project eligibility and export-control requirements.
Compensation & Opportunity
$32-$42 per hour, depending on experience, PLUS per diem!
