Responsibilities:
- Build API endpoints and validate incoming device, identity, and session events; handle missing or malformed fields and keep signal records consistent for downstream scoring. Follow contracts agreed with senior engineers.
- Implement and test guided fraud rules, such as new-device checks and unusual activity velocity; return reason codes that explain why a rule affected the decision.
- Extend signed SDK and business APIs with senior guidance, adding request validation and access checks while keeping each customer's data isolated across requests and sessions.
- Reproduce SDK integration errors using sample requests, logs, and metrics; work with SDK engineers to resolve event-format mismatches and document the expected API behavior.
- Write unit tests for valid, invalid, and boundary cases, participate in code reviews, and follow fixes through testing and release monitoring with the team.
