Machine Operator
Location: Fredericktown, OH
Shifts Available: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Shift
Position Overview
We are seeking dependable and hardworking Machine Operators to join our manufacturing team in Fredericktown, OH. In this role, you will operate a variety of production equipment, including washers, shot blast machines, and grinding and polishing equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Load and unload washers, shot blast machines, and other production equipment.
- Monitor machine cycles to ensure equipment is operating properly and efficiently.
- Operate grinding, polishing, and buffing machines to remove excess material, burrs, and defects from metal or plastic parts.
- Grind, sand, clean, and polish workpieces using hand tools and power equipment.
- Prepare parts and surfaces for additional manufacturing or finishing processes.
- Monitor machine performance, make minor adjustments, and report equipment issues or needed repairs.
- Move parts and materials between production areas as needed.
- Perform quality inspections to identify defects, damage, or inconsistencies.
- Complete packaging and other general production duties.
- Follow all workplace safety procedures, production guidelines, and personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Previous manufacturing, production, or warehouse experience preferred.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and practical hands-on skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and established production procedures.
- Comfortable performing repetitive tasks and standing for extended periods.
- Ability to bend, twist, squat, push, and pull throughout the workday.
- Ability to regularly lift 20-25+ pounds.
- Comfortable working in varying weather and temperature conditions.
- Dependable, punctual, safety-conscious, and detail-oriented.
