  • Prototyping machine learning algorithms to extract relevant data from satellite imagery for grid and transport networks.
  • Architecting and developing highly scalable web applications that handle complex data infrastructures and AI models, including machine learning (ML) predictions, geospatial data processing, and leveraging large language models (LLMs).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to design, build, and ship new features from scratch.
  • Evaluate and improve the performance, durability, and security of applications in production.
  • Take ownership of tasks, ensuring features are developed from start to finish.
  • Provide and receive constructive feedback during code reviews to enhance team performance.
  • Work on projects in an Agile environment, utilizing 2-week sprints for iterative development.

Requirements:

  • Excellent written and spoken English skills.
  • Strong proficiency in TypeScript, GCP, and React.
  • Experience in programming complex systems from scratch and writing maintainable, scalable code.
  • Ability to work with AI models, machine learning predictions, and complex data infrastructures.
  • Experience with geospatial data processing and leveraging large language models (LLMs).
  • Thorough testing skills and a commitment to improving the work environment.
  • Enjoyment of remote work and collaboration in a virtual team setting.

Bonus Points:

  • Experience with Geographic Information Systems (GIS).
  • You live in Oslo or would like to relocate.
  • Passion for making a significant impact on fostering the green transition through EV charging infrastructure.
  • Proficiency with GCP is a big bonus.
  • Familiarity with deployment automation tools.
  • Initiative and a great sense of humor.

Benefits:

  • Be part of an impact-driven startup with a clear mission to democratize access to geospatial data and drive the green transition.
  • Work on exciting projects in Norway and Europe, contributing to cutting-edge Green Transition initiatives.
  • Join a multicultural team with international ambitions and a shared commitment to environmental sustainability.
  • Flexible working hours and a supportive remote work environment.
  • Opportunities for career growth and development in a deep-tech company.
  • Competitive compensation and equity packages for the right candidate.
  • Preference will be given to candidates in Oslo or those willing to relocate in the short term.
