Svitla Systems Inc., is looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer for a full-time position (40 hours per week) for a short-term basis in the US. Our client is an AI company that provides purpose-built solutions for the travel and transportation industry. Its platform helps airlines, hospitality providers, cruise lines, and ground transportation operators automate decision-making, improve planning efficiency, and deliver more personalized travel experiences. Born from academic research and designed for mission-critical use, our client applies advanced AI to complex real-world problems.
As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you’ll join a collaborative, highly creative, and fast-paced team to design and build cutting-edge web experiences and AI-driven solutions. You’ll play a key role as both architect and developer, shaping technologies that power portfolio of travel AI products -used by some of the world’s leading brands.
This is a hands-on role with the opportunity to work across the stack-from building intuitive product experiences to developing the APIs, services, and systems that power them. You’ll work closely with product, design, and other engineers to turn complex problems into simple, reliable experiences for our customers and their travelers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Proficiency in Python and React.
- Familiarity with testing frameworks, such as Jest, Cypress, or Playwright.
- Proficiency with backend APIs and RESTful services.
- Experience with AWS compute and storage services, such as Lambda and DynamoDB.
- Experience and comfort using AI tools, such as Codex, Claude Code, or Copilot, to automate workflows.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Understanding of MCP and agent frameworks.
Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain scalable MCP and agent applications using modern frameworks and libraries.
- Build, maintain, and optimize APIs and infrastructure.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and performance.
- Review code to troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues.
- Implement best practices for code quality, testing, and maintainability.
- Apply sound testing and evaluation practices to agent applications, including unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Stay current with trends, tools, and emerging technologies in computer science and artificial intelligence.
