We are hiring for a Patient Admissions Coordinator position at Providence Seward Mountain Haven in Seward AK!
Position is Full-time, 1 FTE, Day shift, 40 hours per week.

This position coordinates the administrative and financial aspects of the patient admission at facility. Serves as a liaison between the patient, family, referral source and the interdisciplinary team so that everyone is prepared and informed to facilitate a safe, timely and positive admission experience. Works as the primary contact for the admission liaison team, patient, family members, and referring agencies during the referral and admission process related to financial coverage and potential costs.

Required Qualifications:
- H.S. Diploma or GED
- 2 years Experience in healthcare patient admissions and/or financial counseling and insurance verifications.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2 years Experience in healthcare revenue cycle operations.
- 2 years Experience with Geriatric Care for positions in LTC facility at a Critical Access Hospital.
