Procedural Scheduler - General Surgery

Under the general supervision of the Clinic Manager/Supervisor, this position is responsible for scheduling surgical procedures. Key responsibilities include preparing clinical data for submission of request for prior authorization, maintaining appropriate logs, and documentation of authorizations status.

Required Qualifications:
- H.S. Diploma or GED, or equivalent educ/experience
- 1 year of experience with medical terminology, coding, and medical charting.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Medical Assistant, Billing, or Front Office Management certification from an accredited vocational school.
- Experience in referral authorizations and Surgical Scheduling.
