Role Overview

We are looking for a dynamic IT Infrastructure Project Manager to support projects for office buildouts for Data Centers.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage projects through the complete lifecycle: Requirements → Design → Procurement → Construction → Technology Deployment →Commissioning → Employee Readiness → Handover.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), budgets, milestones, dependencies, risks, and resource plans.
• Review architectural drawings, technology designs, floor plans, Bills of Materials (BOMs), Statements of Work (SOWs), and implementation plans.
• Coordinate workplace technology requirements including:
• Main Distribution Frame/Intermediate Distribution Frame (MDF/IDF) rooms
• Structured copper and fiber cabling
• Network racks and cabinets
• LAN/WAN connectivity
• Enterprise Wi-Fi
• Conference room and collaboration technology
• Digital signage
• Physical security and access-control systems
• UPS and technology power requirements
• End-user technology readiness
• Conduct site surveys and validate power, cooling, cable pathways, equipment locations, rack layouts, telecom rooms, and infrastructure readiness.
• Align technology installation activities with construction schedules and site-access requirements.
• Manage equipment procurement, long-lead items, logistics, staging, delivery, and installation schedules.
• Track contractor and vendor performance against schedule, quality, cost, safety, and contractual requirements.
• Manage Requests for Information (RFIs), change requests, change orders, scope modifications, and associated schedule or budget impacts.
• Maintain RAID logs covering Risks, Assumptions, Issues, and Dependencies.
• Lead weekly project meetings, construction/technology coordination meetings, executive reviews, and readiness meetings.
• Provide clear reporting on schedule, budget, risks, decisions, dependencies, and milestone status.
• Coordinate testing and commissioning of network, Wi-Fi, AV, security, cabling, and supporting infrastructure.
• Manage punch-list resolution and ensure outstanding defects are closed before final acceptance.
• Coordinate office operational-readiness and Day-1 readiness activities across technology and workplace teams.
• Manage project closeout documentation including:
• As-built drawings
• Rack elevations
• Cable test results
• Asset inventories
• Equipment documentation
• Warranty information
• Configuration records
• Punch-list closure
• Operational handover documentation
• Conduct lessons-learned reviews and drive continuous improvements across future Salesforce office-build projects.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Project Management, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of project management experience implementing IT infrastructure projects
• Experience coordinating multiple internal teams, contractors, consultants, and technology vendors.
• Experience managing schedules, budgets, procurement, risks, dependencies, change control, and project governance.
• Understanding of structured cabling, networking, Wi-Fi, AV, security, and corporate workplace infrastructure.
• Ability to interpret floor plans, technology drawings, rack elevations, and implementation schedules.
• Strong stakeholder, vendor, communication, negotiation, and escalation-management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent office-build projects across different locations.
