Assistant Manager - Financial Control

This role sits within the Financial Control department, focusing on the financial integrity of service entities and their holding companies. You will manage monthly and annual reporting cycles while driving process improvements through automation and advanced analytical tools.

Responsibilities

• Execute monthly and year-end closing processes for US GAAP and local GAAP financial statements.
• Ensure financial statements are accurate, complete, and prepared in accordance with regulatory standards.
• Manage inter-company transactions, including reconciliation, break resolution, and consolidation eliminations.
• Collaborate with entity controllers and consolidation groups to provide insights into financial reporting.
• Support statutory audits and ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements.
• Identify opportunities for process automation and implement technological solutions to enhance efficiency.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, investigate variances, and escalate issues appropriately.

Requirements

• Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification.
• 3-4 years of post-qualification experience in financial control or reporting.
• Strong working knowledge of US GAAP and Ind AS.
• Proficiency in financial statement preparation and month-end closing processes.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with data visualization or automation tools like Tableau, Alteryx, or AI-driven solutions.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to manage complex cross-border transactions.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships across global functions.
