DevOps Engineer

We are looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team, focusing on the stability and scalability of critical risk management platforms. You will play a pivotal role in maintaining high-availability banking systems, ensuring seamless production operations, and driving automation initiatives to enhance system reliability. This is a hybrid role based in Mumbai / Pune / Bengaluru / Gurugram / Chennai.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain live production environments for complex banking and trading platforms.
• Lead incident response efforts, including the resolution of major outages and performance bottlenecks.
• Develop and implement automation tools to streamline operational workflows and reduce manual toil.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve system observability and monitoring standards.
• Ensure the reliability and performance of mission-critical financial applications.
• Implement best practices for system configuration and deployment management.

Requirements

• 5-11 years of professional experience in DevOps, SRE, or Application Support roles.
• Proven track record working within Banking, Trading, or Risk Management systems.
• Strong programming skills in Python for automation and scripting.
• Extensive experience managing live production systems and handling high-pressure incident management scenarios.
• Deep understanding of observability stacks to monitor and troubleshoot complex distributed systems.
• Experience with cloud-native infrastructure and container orchestration platforms.
• Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools and configuration management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related engineering field.
