We are seeking an Associate Trading Application Support professional to join a dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth operation and optimal performance of critical trading applications, providing essential support to front-office users. Responsibilities

  • Provide first and second-line support for trading applications, resolving issues promptly
  • Monitor application performance and proactively identify potential problems
  • Escalate complex issues to senior support or development teams when necessary
  • Document support procedures, incident resolutions, and knowledge base articles
  • Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams on application releases and upgrades
  • Perform daily health checks and system reconciliations

Requirements

  • 7-10 years of experience in application support, preferably within financial services
  • Basic understanding of trading concepts and financial markets
  • Proficiency in SQL for data querying and analysis
  • Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Shell) for automation
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field
