C++ Developer

We are looking for an experienced C++ Developer to design, develop, and maintain high-performance software solutions for enterprise financial systems. The role will focus on modern C++ development, low-latency and multithreaded programming, performance optimization, and building reliable software components for complex financial applications.
The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on expertise in Modern C++, object-oriented design, multithreading, data structures, performance engineering, and software development practices, along with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues in production environments.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance applications and software components using Modern C++.
- Develop scalable and reliable solutions for financial systems and enterprise applications.
- Implement multi-threaded and concurrent applications with strong focus on performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Analyze system and application performance and identify opportunities for optimization.
- Design efficient algorithms and data structures for high-throughput and low-latency processing.
- Participate in software architecture and technical design discussions and contribute to scalable solution design.
- Develop clean, modular, reusable, and maintainable code following established engineering standards.
- Perform code reviews and contribute to coding standards, design patterns, and development best practices.
- Troubleshoot complex application, performance, concurrency, and production issues and drive root-cause analysis.
- Develop unit and integration tests and ensure adequate test coverage and software quality.
- Work closely with architects, product teams, QA, DevOps, and other engineering teams throughout the SDLC.
- Support application releases, deployments, production monitoring, and post-production issue resolution.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of application performance, stability, maintainability, and development processes.
- Prepare technical documentation and communicate design decisions and implementation details to stakeholders.
Required Skills & Experience :
- 7 - 10 years of experience in C++ software development.
- Strong hands-on expertise in Modern C++ and object-oriented programming.
- Strong understanding of STL, templates, smart pointers, memory management, exception handling, and RAII.
- Hands-on experience with multithreading, concurrency, synchronization, and parallel programming.
- Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and performance optimization.
- Experience developing high-performance and scalable software applications.
- Good understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and modular application design.
- Experience with debugging, profiling, performance analysis, and optimization of C++ applications.
- Strong understanding of Linux/Unix environments and build/debugging tools is preferred.
- Experience with Git, build systems, testing, and software development lifecycle practices.
- Exposure to financial systems, banking, capital markets, trading, payments, or other high-volume transaction platforms is preferred.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently on complex technical problems and take end-to-end ownership of deliverables.
