Lead Software Engineer

As a Lead Software Engineer, you will spearhead the evolution of our digital landscape by designing and delivering high-quality, scalable software solutions. Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deliver high-quality software solutions using industry-aligned programming languages and frameworks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements, devise solution strategies, and ensure seamless integration with business objectives.
• Provide technical leadership by guiding team members, conducting code reviews, and promoting a culture of technical excellence.
• Adhere to secure coding practices to mitigate vulnerabilities and protect sensitive data across all software solutions.
• Implement effective unit testing and CI/CD practices to ensure code reliability, maintainability, and performance.
• Manage and mitigate technical risks through assessment and adherence to governance agendas.
• Advise senior management on functional and cross-functional areas of impact to support long-term business strategies.
• Drive continuous improvement by researching and adopting innovative technologies and engineering methodologies.

Requirements

• 14-25 years of professional experience in software engineering with a track record of delivering enterprise-scale applications.
• Extensive hands-on experience in Java, including core concepts, concurrency, and performance optimization.
• Strong professional experience with Spring Boot and the broader Spring ecosystem.
• Advanced SQL capability with deep understanding of RDBMS, schema design, and transaction integrity.
• Demonstrable experience with Python 3 for software development, automation, and platform engineering.
• Solid understanding of system design, microservices, distributed systems, and event-driven architecture.
• Experience with cloud platforms, containerization, DevOps tooling, and messaging technologies.
• Prior experience in investment banking, capital markets, or financial services technology is strongly preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
