Legal Associate

The Legal Associate will play a critical role in supporting the legal department by providing high-quality legal counsel and documentation support. This position involves managing complex legal matters, ensuring regulatory compliance, and collaborating with internal stakeholders to mitigate risks within the financial services sector.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial and financial agreements.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) or equivalent degree from a recognized institution.
• 1-3 years of post-qualification experience in a law firm or the legal department of a financial institution.
• Strong understanding of corporate and financial laws.
• Excellent drafting and analytical skills with high attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work environment.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex legal concepts to non-legal stakeholders.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
