Python Developer - Global Markets

We are seeking a skilled Python Developer to join a high-impact team focused on building and supporting critical applications for Risk Management and P&L reporting. You will work closely with business and technology stakeholders to develop robust solutions that drive complex financial calculations and reporting processes. Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Python applications for Risk and P&L reporting systems.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate complex financial requirements into technical solutions.
• Implement and optimize REST APIs to support seamless data integration across financial platforms.
• Perform in-depth debugging and troubleshooting to resolve complex technical issues in production environments.
• Develop and refine algorithms for Pricing, Valuation, VaR, and P&L Attribution.
• Ensure high code quality through rigorous testing and adherence to best practices in Object-Oriented Programming.
• Work independently to manage project deliverables while maintaining effective communication with global technology teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
• 5-10 years of hands-on experience in professional Python development.
• Strong proficiency in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and REST API development.
• Solid understanding of financial concepts including Pricing, Valuation, VaR, and P&L Attribution.
• Proven ability to perform complex debugging and troubleshooting of software applications.
• Strong analytical skills with a track record of solving complex technical problems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work in a hybrid team structure.
