Solution Architect

The Solution Architect will provide technical leadership in the analysis, design, and implementation of enterprise-grade data models and cloud-based solutions. You will work closely with project stakeholders to translate complex business needs into scalable technical architectures, ensuring successful delivery from assessment to deployment. Responsibilities

• Lead technical teams in designing, documenting, and implementing robust solutions for complex business problems.
• Execute technical feasibility assessments, solution estimations, and proof-of-concept development for cloud migration projects.
• Develop and enhance enterprise data management architectures within GCP to meet evolving business requirements.
• Formulate integrated solutions that align people, processes, and technology to achieve end-to-end vision.
• Design conceptual, logical, and physical data models for large-scale data lake and data warehouse environments.
• Create comprehensive functional and technical documentation, including data dictionaries, mapping specifications, and testing plans.
• Collaborate with business users to analyze requirements and ensure technical solutions align with organizational goals.
• Stay current with emerging technologies to recommend and implement best-in-class approaches for data architecture.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS, or a related field.
• 10-15 years of professional experience in Business Intelligence and Data Warehouse implementations.
• Minimum 4 years of dedicated experience in technical or solution architecture specifically within GCP Cloud.
• 3-5 years of hands-on experience in Enterprise Data Modelling using tools like ERwin, ER/Studio, or Power Designer.
• Strong proficiency in Big Data technologies, cloud migration strategies, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with containerization technologies including Kubernetes and Docker.
• Solid understanding of infrastructure as code using Terraform and cloud deployment best practices.
• Proven ability to work effectively in both Agile and Waterfall development environments.
