Job Description and Requirements

We Are

Synopsys is the leader in engineering solutions from silicon to systems, enabling customers to rapidly innovate AI-powered products. We deliver industry-leading silicon design, IP, simulation and analysis solutions, and design services. We partner closely with our customers across a wide range of industries to maximize their R&D capability and productivity, powering innovation today that ignites the ingenuity of tomorrow.

You Are

You have spent the last decade and a half making revenue engines actually work, not just look good in architecture diagrams. You know that a CRM is only as good as the adoption rate, the data quality, and whether the sales team in Singapore can actually close a deal faster because of what you built. You have lived through enough Salesforce implementations to know where they break, and you have the scar tissue from CPQ rollouts that taught you to ask about edge cases before they become escalations.

You think in systems, but you speak in outcomes. When someone says they need better forecasting, you are already three steps ahead, thinking about Clari configuration, data hygiene in Salesforce, and whether the comp plan in Anaplan is actually aligned to what you are trying to predict. You do not wait for perfect requirements. You sit with sales ops, finance, and RevOps leaders, ask the hard questions, and build a roadmap that actually reflects how deals move through the business.

Managing a global team does not intimidate you. You have done it. You know how to balance strategic direction with day-to-day execution, and you understand that mentoring someone in Bangalore on a complex integration requires a different approach than a quick sync with your architect in Boston. At Synopsys, you will own the GTM systems that power a multi-billion dollar sales organization, and what you build will directly affect how 30,000 people go to market every day.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Own the strategic direction and operational management of Salesforce as the primary CRM platform, including opportunity management, CPQ (Salesforce and Oracle), Partner Cloud, and marketing integration
  • Lead cross-functional alignment sessions with sales operations, finance, marketing, and IT to define and execute the GTM systems roadmap, ensuring business needs drive technology decisions
  • Oversee forecasting and pipeline analytics using Clari, working closely with RevOps and finance to ensure accurate predictions and actionable insights for leadership
  • Manage incentive compensation system integration with Anaplan, ensuring alignment between sales performance, comp plans, and CRM data flows
  • Drive M&A integration efforts by consolidating CRM platforms and GTM processes from acquired companies into a unified Salesforce environment
  • Lead and mentor a global team of GTM systems professionals, including business process analysts and technical architects, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement
  • Partner with business process analysts to assess current state workflows, identify inefficiencies, and implement system enhancements that improve user experience and sales velocity

The Impact You Will Have

  • Sales teams close deals faster and with fewer blockers because the systems you manage actually support how they work, not how a consultant thought they should work
  • Leadership gets accurate, real-time forecasting data that drives better business decisions, powered by the Clari and Salesforce integrations you oversee
  • Newly acquired companies integrate smoothly into the Synopsys GTM ecosystem, preserving deal momentum and eliminating duplicate systems within months, not years
  • CPQ processes that used to take days now take hours, and quote accuracy improves because you designed the system with edge cases and global complexity in mind
  • Compensation disputes drop because the Anaplan and Salesforce integration you built ensures transparency and accuracy in how commissions are calculated
  • Your team grows in capability and confidence because you create space for them to solve hard problems and own meaningful outcomes
  • GTM system adoption increases across regions because you prioritize user experience and work directly with sales leaders to address real friction points

What You'll Need

  • 15+ years of hands-on experience managing GTM systems with deep expertise in Salesforce as a CRM platform, including administration, configuration, and strategic roadmap ownership
  • Proven track record leading CPQ implementations and optimizations, specifically with Salesforce CPQ and Oracle CPQ in complex, global sales environments
  • Direct experience with forecasting and pipeline analytics tools, particularly Clari, including configuration, reporting, and integration with CRM systems
  • Strong working knowledge of incentive compensation systems like Anaplan, including how comp plans flow through CRM data and affect sales behavior
  • Experience leading M&A integration efforts that involve consolidating CRM platforms, data migration, and process harmonization across acquired organizations
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and mentor global teams, including remote leadership, performance management, and building collaborative cultures across time zones
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field; a Master's degree or equivalent strategic leadership experience is a strong plus

Who You Are

  • You can walk into a room with a sales VP, a finance director, and an IT architect, hear three different priorities, and walk out with a roadmap everyone believes in
  • You push back when a request does not make sense, not to be difficult, but because you have seen what happens when systems get built to check a box instead of solve a problem
  • You are comfortable making decisions with incomplete information, but you know which gaps matter and which ones you can work around
  • You have managed teams across multiple regions and you understand that leading someone in Dallas looks different than leading someone in Bangalore, and you adjust accordingly
  • You treat CRM and GTM systems like products, you think about user experience, adoption metrics, and lifecycle management, not just uptime and configuration
  • You stay current on where the industry is going with RevOps tooling, AI in forecasting, and sales tech consolidation, and you bring that perspective into your strategy
