eCommerce Key Account Manager

Syntech is a South African distributor of IT and consumer electronics, and eCommerce is one of the fastest moving parts of the business. This role owns the commercial performance of a defined category portfolio across our online retail accounts, holding the buyer relationships and making the pricing, promotional and range decisions that sit behind them. It blends strategic planning with hands on execution, and covers both existing business and new opportunities.

You will run a multi category portfolio across several buyers with the market's largest online retailers, merging local distributor strategy with international vendor brands. The successful candidate will be accountable for net profit delivery, for brand and budget integrity, for the health of the range, and for listing excellence.

We are looking for commercial acumen, sound judgement and real market awareness, with a deep understanding of the South African retail and eCommerce landscape and the ability to negotiate and execute complex strategies that deliver sustained growth, protected margins and strengthens retailer partnerships.

The position comes with support team members for admin and operations who the KAM works closely with, which helps ensure the KAM can deliver the most value to our strategic partners.

The focus of the job is growth and commercial oversight, along with relationship management both internally and externally.
