QA Tester

Syone is looking for a Test Analyst to join our team in Porto, contributing to test design, execution, and quality assurance to ensure the reliability of business-critical applications.

What you would do:

• Design, develop, and maintain test cases based on business requirements and functional specifications;

• Execute manual tests, analyze results, and identify potential issues;

• Plan, prioritize, and report test activities, supporting Go / No-Go decisions;

• Register, track, and manage defects and anomalies in ALM Octane;

• Identify risks related to quality and timelines and support their resolution;

• Collaborate with Business Analysts and stakeholders to ensure compliance with project standards;

• Communicate progress and results, contributing to test documentation and reports;

• Ensure adherence to internal procedures, standards, and service culture values.

What you need to bring:

• Degree in Computer Science or a related field;

• Minimum 3 years of experience in software testing;

• Solid knowledge of test methodologies and terminology (ISTQB);

• Experience in test planning, execution, and reporting;

• Knowledge of SQL and API testing;

• Experience with test management and defect tracking tools,

• Ability to identify, analyze, and follow up on risks and defects;

• Strong analytical, critical, and logical thinking;

• Good summarization and documentation skills;

• Fluency in French (mandatory).
