Sysco LABS Sri Lanka delivers the technology that powers Sysco’s end-to-end operations. Sysco LABS’ enterprise technology is present in the end-to-end foodservice journey, enabling the sourcing of food products, merchandising, storage and warehouse operations, order placement and pricing algorithms, the delivery of food and supplies to Sysco’s global network and the in-restaurant dining experience of the end-customer.
Responsibilities:
Assistingin monitoring Sysco’s global infrastructure and applications on a scheduled roster, supporting 24/7 operations under the guidance of senior engineers
Supportingthe team in proactivelyidentifyingpotential incidents by using monitoring dashboards to help prevent impacts on Sysco associates and customers
Helpingensure Sysco’s IT infrastructure and applications remain operational by escalating potential incidents to support teams within defined service level agreements (SLAs), as directed
Actively engaging and collaborating with all relevant stakeholders to learn from their experience and insights throughout the internship period
Activelymonitoringand completing learningobjectivesto ensure coverage for the duration of the internship
Activelyparticipatingin all training and development sessions
Requirements:
A basic understanding or coursework in Operations Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, or similar technical areas; prior experience is notrequiredbut is a plus
Mustdemonstratea strong problem-solving & analytical mindset, and attention to detail
Mustpossessexcellent communication and interpersonal skills
Must be self-driven and a team player
