The role is responsible for the end-to-end administration, instructional design, development, governance, and maintenance of learning content across the Learning and Talent Management portfolio. This role enables employees, people leaders, and senior leaders to access accurate, engaging, and high-quality learning experiences through the HR front door and connected technologies such as BLOOM, Novo-Ed, Synthesia, and other platforms.

Working across global teams and time zones, this role partners with product owners, learning center leaders, technology teams, vendors, shared services, and business stakeholders to translate portfolio priorities into scalable, learner-centered content and learning & development solutions. The role establishes consistent instructional design and content administration practices across platforms, programs, and audiences.

How you will contribute:

  • Manage content across platforms such as BLOOM, Novo-Ed, Synthesia, content hubs, learning pathways, and other digital tools, including uploads, configuration, testing, version control, and troubleshooting.
  • Partner with product owners and learning center leaders to assess needs, define learning objectives, curate or develop content, and translate priorities into practical learning & development solutions.
  • Conduct content inventories and audits to identify gaps, duplication, outdated materials, and opportunities for reuse or consolidation across the portfolio.
  • Use learner feedback, platform data, and usage insights to improve content quality, learner experience, adoption, and effectiveness.
  • Coordinate content deliverables, timelines, risks, approvals, and stakeholder communications across global teams, vendors, and multiple time zones.

Skills and qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience plus 5 years of relevant experience in instructional design, learning content administration, digital learning development, learning operations, talent development, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated expertise in instructional design principles, adult learning, learning objectives, content structure, assessment, and evaluation.
  • Hands-on experience administering content in learning technologies and digital learning platforms, including BLOOM, Novo-Ed, Synthesia, content hubs, learning pathways, or similar systems.
  • Experience with content governance, taxonomy, metadata, version control, accessibility, quality assurance, and lifecycle management across a broad portfolio.
  • Strong ability to translate stakeholder needs into clear learning objectives, practical content strategies, and learner-centered learning & development solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage complex priorities, influence without authority, and communicate clearly with global stakeholders.
  • Strong quality orientation, attention to detail, and ability to maintain consistent standards across enterprise learning content and products.

As a learning content and instructional design specialist, this role brings deep expertise in content administration, learning platforms, digital learning development, and scalable learning & development solutions, with a broad HR, talent, employee experience, and business perspective. The Learning Content Solutions Manager anticipates learner and stakeholder needs, strengthens portfolio-wide content quality and governance, aligns partners around priorities, and drives measurable progress against Takeda’s learning and development goals.
