Objectives/Purpose
Role Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and accountable Team Lead - Reporting & ML Operations to oversee a team responsible for business-critical reporting and monitoring of data pipelines supporting alert generation activities. The team lead will ensure high-quality, timely execution of daily and weekly operations across Power BI and Qlik dashboards, lead data investigations, and support standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure accurate and timely alert delivery. This role will serve as the primary point of contact (POC) for client communication, both verbal and written, and play a key role in driving operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Oversight:
- Manage and coordinate daily/weekly operational activities across reporting & ML Ops
- Ensure timely and accurate dashboard refreshes and data validations for ~20 Power BI and Qlik dashboards.
- Supervise and support root cause analysis for data issues, guided by SOPs and escalation protocols.
Client Communication & Stakeholder Management:
- Act as the primary client-facing representative for all operational updates, incident reports, and data issue escalations.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with stakeholders via email, reports, and meetings and collaborate effectively for cross-functional teamwork.
- Translate technical data issues into business-relevant context and drive resolutions with minimal disruption to reporting cycles.
- Operational Oversight, Accountable and report on data investigation turnaround, categorization, deviations and triaging or escalation.Orchestrate operational excellence and continuous improvement, and reflect in evolving SOPs.
Qualifications & Skills:
- 3-4 yearsof experience in BI operations, reporting support, or data management
- Hands-on experience with Power BI and/or Qlik environments.
- Familiarity with data investigations, refresh monitoring
- Proficiency in SQL and basic understanding of data integration/ETL processes.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with experience in client interaction and stakeholder reporting.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills.
Preferred:
- Experience working in SLA-driven environments.
- Ticketing platforms like JIRA, SNOW
