Senior Visual Brand Designer
About the Role
We're looking for a Visual Brand Designer with strong creative flair to help shape how Tala looks, feels, and shows up in the world. You'll translate business strategy and brand attributes into a cohesive, compelling brand identity and systems, owning everything from logo, color, and typography to photographic and illustration style. This role is pivotal to maintaining brand integrity across our organization and ensuring every touchpoint reflects a consistent, intentional visual identity.
Working closely with our Marketing and Strategy teams, you'll bring creative concepts to life by translating brand guidelines into pixel-perfect, engaging visual assets across digital marketing, campaign creative, and social channels.

What You'll Do
Manage an established global brand identity by continually elevating our visual design systems, standards and guidelines plus incorporating new sub brand architectures.
Partner with internal stakeholders to produce visual design creative, including icons, animated GIFs/videos, and illustrations, or digital marketing campaigns across all channels: ads, social media, email, and more.
Serve as a steward of brand integrity, ensuring consistency and quality across every team and touchpoint that represents Tala.
Design and deliver a wide range of creative assets while maintaining consistency with brand and style guidelines.
Use data and performance learnings to inform the creative process and sharpen final designs.
Generate fresh creative ideas, inspire your teammates, and give and receive feedback with respect and openness.
Self-manage across multiple deadlines and priorities, keeping projects moving forward independently.
What You'll Need
5+ years of experience in graphic design, animation, or illustration.
Proven command of design principles, typography, color theory, and conceptual thinking.
Track record of managing brand identity and designing visual systems, experience with technology brands highly favored.
International experience preferred, either working on a US brand or regional multinational brands where you have translated ideas and design across cultures.
Strong skills in graphic design, plus either 2D animation or illustration.
Expert-level proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly Photoshop and Illustrator.
An exceptional portfolio showcasing refined design and typographic sensibility.
Experience working with consumer brands, and business to business, either in-house or at an advertising agency.
Deep customer empathy and a strong sense of how design decisions impact people.
Experience working within brand guidelines while adapting creative to fit evolving marketing needs across online and offline, owned and paid channels.
Experience with Premiere Pro and After Effects is a plus.
Comfortable with Slack, Jira, and Google Workspace, across timezones managing key relationships in the Americas.
