ROLE SUMMARY
Assists manager by performing related duties. Supports staff results by communicating job expectations and planning, monitoring, and appraising job results. Helps to coach, counsel, and discipline employees. Aids in developing, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, procedures, and productivity standards.

- Reviewing and Posting of Monthly Recurring Entries
- Reviewing and Confirming Monthly Trial Balance Closure
- Perform and Oversee Internal/External Audits
- Set-up and Monitor Accounting KPIs
- Assist Planning Team with Annual Budgeting
- Analyze the P&L for Cost Cutting & Profit Maximizing Opportunities
- Suggest Recommendations to Business Stakeholders
- Ensure Compliance with Governmental Law and Tax
· Other Tasks Assigned by the Direct Line Manager
Analyze financial performance against best estimates and identify key variances, presenting findings to the Sr. Manager Finance.
Ensure financial records reconcile accurately with inventory reports
Validate the correct recording of NRV (Net Realizable Value) adjustments
Collaborate with relevant departments to reduce variances identified through Talabat reports
Follow up on requirements and instructions from the Sr. Manager Finance and communicate tasks to the team as needed.
Monitor the team’s daily, weekly and monthly deliverables to ensure all submissions are completed within required deadlines
Assist in internal and external audit activities
Support the enhancement of internal controls across finance, commercial, and operational processes
WHAT DID WE ORDER?
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting.
Experience: 8+ years of progressive experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or Assistant Manager capacity (E-commerce, Retail, or FMCG).
Proven experience in managing Big 4 audits and tax inspections.
Advanced proficiency in MSD or similar ERP, Excel, Power Query, and a working knowledge of IFRS 16.
Soft Skills: Exceptional communication skills for dealing with External and internal stakeholders; ability to work under pressure during tight closing windows.
