The VDC Coordinator coordinates BIM and digital design logistics with the design team including coordination with architects, project managers, designers, engineers, and estimators.
Maintain and operate point cloud scanning field equipment for documenting building and site existing conditions.
Creates and maintains digital architectural and engineering models, including developing existing condition BIM models for project specific requirements.
Receives and manages multiple subcontractor models, including solving problems and educating internal and exterior project team members through BIM management.
Communicates conflicts in models, both real and potential.
Responsible for maintaining, developing, and refining design firm project standards and templates utilized by the design and construction teams.
Secondary responsibilities will include drafting within all phases of design including Preliminary, Schematic Design, Design Development, and Construction Document phases
Ensure Adherence to ISO BIM standards and process.
