IT Support Engineer

Description

Tango's Corporate IT team supports ~560 people across four offices - Warsaw, Limassol, Kyiv and Tel Aviv - and runs the company's identity, endpoint, network and SaaS estate.

You will be a 2-line IT engineer of the team: second-line support for the whole company, first point of contact for everyone in the Limassol office, and administrator of the systems R&D depends on every day - GitLab, Google Cloud access, Jira and Confluence. It is a hands-on role with real weight: the person you are replacing closed close to half of the team's requests across all four offices.

Responsibilities

L2 support, company-wide

• Second-line support for all offices: access requests, accounts, devices, SaaS management.
• Local IT for the Limassol office - every employee there, plus the hardware fleet (macbooks), meeting rooms and office network. Help is both local and global; the desk is one team across four locations.

Access & identity administration

• Administer GitLab, Google Cloud IAM and internal tool access - your daily routine and your main improvement focus.
• Run joiner / mover / leaver flows through HiBob → Okta → Google Workspace; keep group and role hygiene in Okta.

Continuous improvement

• Turn recurring manual work into automation: access templates by role, request-type automations, self-service where a ticket is not needed. You see the routine closest, so you propose what to fix first.

Endpoints & office infrastructure

• macOS fleet in Jamf (Jamf Pro + Connect), Windows in Intune; compliance and inventory hygiene.
• Limassol office network: day-to-day operation and troubleshooting of firewall, switching and Wi-Fi; the infrastructure engineer owns design and upgrades, you own that it works every day.
• Meeting-room AV, printers, ISP relations.

Jira & Confluence administration and integrations

• Administer Jira and Confluence: projects, permissions, request types, automations, knowledge base.
• Build and maintain integrations around them - Slack (requests and notifications in the flow of work), HiBob and Okta (lifecycle data), and AI-assisted tooling: LLM-based triage and categorisation of requests, a Slack assistant that answers from the Confluence knowledge base and opens tickets when it cannot, automated resolution of the simplest request types.

Documentation & ownership

• Keep runbooks and the service registry current for everything you administer. Every system you touch has a documented owner, an admin and a renewal date - you make sure that stays true.

Requirements

Must have

• 4+ years in IT support / system administration in a multi-office, SaaS-first company, with at least 2 years at second line.
• Okta (or another enterprise IdP): SAML/OIDC integrations, groups, rules, lifecycle.
• Google Workspace administration.
• Jamf (or equivalent macOS MDM) and Intune; comfortable with a mostly-Mac fleet.
• GitLab administration (groups, permissions, SSO) and Google Cloud IAM.
• Good networking knowledge: routing & switching, firewall and Wi-Fi configuration, troubleshooting (CCNA/CCNP level).
• Jira and Confluence administration: automations, request types, permissions, workflows, integrations.
• Security hygiene fundamentals: MFA and least-privilege access, device encryption, phishing awareness, clean offboarding - and comfort working alongside a security team.
• Fluent written and spoken English; clear, calm communication with users at every level.

Nice to have

• Russian (a large part of the team and user base).
• Fortinet (FortiGate / FortiSwitch) hands-on experience.
• Scripting for automation: Bash, Python or Google Apps Script; Okta Workflows; Jira Automation at scale.
• Experience integrating LLM/AI tooling into support workflows (Slack bots, Atlassian Rovo, ticket triage).
• ITIL Foundation.
