Your role

To help our customers turn Tanso into measurable decarbonisation progress, we are looking for a Customer Strategy & Operations Intern (f/m/x) who builds the systems behind a scalable Customer Success organisation.

As a Customer Strategy & Operations Intern, you help build the processes and tools that keep our Customer Success team running smoothly. You will dive deep into the Tanso product and our customers’ challenges, and use these insights to replace manual work with smart, automated workflows. Your work directly shapes how our customers onboard, adopt and grow with Tanso.

Key responsibilities

• Shape our Growth: Contribute your ideas to the development of our Customer Success organisation, ensuring it scales effectively as we help European industry lead global decarbonisation.
• Product Expertise: Build in-depth knowledge of the Tanso platform to help customers master their carbon accounting and ESG data management and navigate complex methodological challenges.
• Automation & AI: Contribute to the development of AI-powered tools and CRM automations, including workflows built on no-code/low-code platforms such as n8n or Make, to improve the customer experience and increase operational efficiency.
• Process Engineering: Design, implement and continuously refine scalable Customer Success processes that raise efficiency and service quality, replacing manual tasks with structured, automated workflows. Build and maintain internal resources such as playbooks, handbooks and templates that give the team a clear and scalable operating framework.
• Customer Enablement: Support onboarding sessions and workshops, and develop training materials that enable customers to work with the platform independently and confidently.
• Data-Driven Insights: Consolidate data from multiple sources to identify friction points along the customer journey and translate these findings into concrete process improvements.
• Operational Ownership: Take ownership of operational tasks and proactively identify opportunities to improve them. Your perspective on how to turn day-to-day challenges into more efficient workflows is highly valued.

Your profile

• Confident, everyday use of LLM-based tools.
• Hands-on experience with no-code/low-code automation platforms, or a strong drive to learn them quickly.
• A proven track record of delivering results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, ideally in a start-up or scale-up.
• Business-fluent English and German, both written and spoken.
• Based in Munich or willing to relocate.

Nice to Have

• Prior experience in a customer-facing role. (e.g. CS, Support or Consulting).
• Familiarity with CRM or support tools such as HubSpot or Intercom
