Business Development Engineer

To drive the company's business growth by identifying, evaluating, and developing new opportunities across power generation, power distribution, and renewable energy sectors. This includes conducting market research, overseeing strategic growth initiatives, and supporting portfolio expansion through in-depth market analysis, feasibility studies, and long-term planning.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities and emerging trends in the power and renewable energy sectors.
• Monitor industry developments, regulatory changes, and competitive landscape to inform strategic decision-making.
• Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including potential clients, partners, and government entities.
• Promote the company's products/services addressing or predicting clients' objectives.
• Support in the evaluation and feasibility assessment of potential projects, including financial modeling and risk analysis.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute business development strategies aligned with TAQA Power's objectives.
• Assist in the preparation of business proposals, presentations, and project documentation.
• Assist in the continuous improvement of business development processes and procedures.

Job Requirements:

Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering, with a major in Electrical, Mechanical, Renewable Energy, or equivalent.

Experience: 2-4 years of experience in business development, sales, project management, or a related role within the power distribution, power generation or renewable energy industry.

Required Skills:

• Exceptional communication and presentation skills
• Excellent with Computer and software tools (Microsoft Office, Presentations tools, CRM, PowerBi, etc.).
• Very good analytical skills
