Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field with 7+ years of relevant experience or a Master's/PhD with 5+ years of relevant experience.

Technical Skills:

  • Strong understanding of computer networking, including TCP/IP, Internet architecture, and network protocols.
  • Solid knowledge of Linux operating systems, including IPC, multi-threading, process management, and system internals.
  • Hands-on experience in C++ systems and network programming, including sockets and low-level software development.
  • Proven expertise in debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimisation on Linux platforms.

Expertise in One or More of the Following:

  • Advanced networking technologies, including packet forwarding, routing, bridging, switching, VLANs, Ethernet services, and Ethernet OAM.
  • Cloud and network management systems and configuration and provisioning technologies, including YANG models, gRPC, HTTP, OpenFlow, and SDN.
  • Network security, authentication, and tunnelling technologies such as IPSec, CAPWAP, and IEEE 802.1X.
  • MAC and network-layer implementation for wireless communication standards, including IEEE 802.11 (Wi-Fi), WiMAX, LTE, or other OFDM-based technologies.
