Tufting Operator - (Commercial)
PURPOSE OF JOB:
To operate the Stratatec Tufting Machine and keep a record during the shift of production and downtime.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Monitor carpet quality.
Navigate SAP.
Navigate Barco
Must work in a team Environment.
Ability to Mend.
Abide by our WCM Philosophies.
Ability to run knots efficiently.
Change backing.
Make out roll tickets.
Doff rolls.
Housekeeping of area.
Other duties as instructed by supervisor.
NEEDED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Ability to bend, pull, and lift
Ability to see and thread multiple colors.
Ability to read, write, and do basic math
Knowledge of air splicer
Ability to understand graphic patterns
Ability to tie weaver's knot
Preferred High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
Prior experience operating a tufting machine with all ends controlled by servos
