Using established BASsystemstandardsinUSgeography,responsibleforhardwaredesignsand softwareprogrammingforHVACcontrolsystemsto meettheintentoftheprojectrequirements. Provides detailed information and submittals to
communicate design and operation to customers, consultants, field installationteam and subcontractors.
- Creates hardware designs from
Mechanical drawings, Piping and Instrumentation and Electrical Drawings. Has
ability to develop sequence of operations those will be implementedintheBuildingAutomationControllers,prepareoverallbillof material, network layouts and
electrical schematics as required. Create OT network/automation Architecture
for the project.
- Coordinatesthecreationof necessarydrawingsand equipment
schedulesfor submittals and installation.
- Createwiringdiagrams,PanelDesigns.
- HasabilitytoselectSensors,Actuators,Controllers,gateways,fromthesuppliersand create overall Bill of quantities.
- Gathersfieldchangesfromtheprojectteamandcreatesas-builtdrawingsPrepares proper documentation and/or manuals for system operation.
Requirements
- KnowledgeofControlsNetworking,MechanicalequipmentlikeChillers,Cooling Towers,AHUs,VAVs,FCUs,Non-DDCsystemslikeUnitHeaters,Thermostatbasedcontrols,is familiar withmajor
DDC systemsfromHoneywell and JCI , isawareof challengesin legacy migration projects.Niagara/Metasysknowledgeandexperiencepreferred.
- SupportingskillsandabilitytowritesimplesoftwarecontrolsImplementations.
Experience with
US/European BAS standards preferred.
