Desired Competencies
(Technical/Behavioral Competency)
Strong hands-on experience with Selenium
WebDriver (Java or JavaScript).
Strong experience in Selenium WebDriver
and exposure/hands-on experience in at least one modern automation tool such
as Playwright, Cypress, or TOSCA
Strong programming skills in Java /
JavaScript / TypeScript. Hands-on experience in automation framework
development and maintenance.
Experience in manual testing
including test case design and execution.
Experience with API testing (Postman
/ REST Assured / Playwright/Cypress API testing).
Basic working knowledge of SQL
for data validation. Experience using Git for version control.
Ability to debug and fix flaky
automation scripts and failures.
Strong experience in Playwright or Cypress (preferred over only Selenium).
Exposure to BDD frameworks (Cucumber, SpecFlow).
Experience with CI/CD pipelines
(Jenkins / Azure DevOps / GitHub Actions).
Understanding of automation framework
design patterns and reusable components.
Experience using Maven / Gradle.
Exposure to cloud-based testing platforms (BrowserStack, Sauce Labs).
Experience in client-facing or
fast-paced environments.
Candidate should be adaptable to work
across different domains/projects as per business requirement
