Data Integration Developer

Job Description

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Data Integration Developer to design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines and infrastructure that ensure data quality, traceability, and compliance across enterprise systems.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement ETL solutions using industry-standard tools to move and transform data across systems.

Document and maintain comprehensive data lineage to track data flow from source to destination, ensuring transparency and regulatory compliance.

Write and optimize complex SQL queries across Oracle, SQL Server, and PostgreSQL.

Manage database operations using DDL, DML, DQL, and DCL commands.

Develop automation scripts and tools using Python to streamline data operations and reduce manual effort.

Manage code repositories using Git and GitHub, including branching, merging, and code review collaboration.

Work in Linux and Unix environments for deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting data systems.

Implement data validation checks and ensure data integrity throughout the pipeline lifecycle.

Required Qualifications

Proven experience with ETL tools such as Informatica, Talend, Apache Airflow, or similar platforms.

Strong proficiency in Python for scripting and data processing.

Hands-on experience with Oracle, SQL Server, and PostgreSQL.

Solid understanding of data lineage concepts and best practices.

Experience with Git and GitHub for version control.

Comfortable working in Unix and Linux environments.

Knowledge of SQL DDL, DML, DQL, and DCL operations.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Expe rience with cloud data platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Knowledge of data quality frameworks.

Familiarity with Agile methodologies.

Previous experience in financial services or banking.
