Welding Inspector required for a major Offshore Wind Farm Developer based in Germany.
Responsibilities:
- Surveillance of the complete steelwork manufacturing process until release for coating.
- Witness of Inspection points according to ITP.
- Review on As Built documentation.
- Reporting of Inspection .
- Follow-up on open topics and NCRs.
Qualifications
- Engineering degree or technical diploma in mechanical is desirable.
- 5 years experience in steel processing with background of corrosion protection or welding works.
- Welding Engineer certification (IWE) or equivalent compliant with ISO 14731.
- Qualification as NDT inspector level 2 for visual inspection, Ultrasounds and Phase Array Ultrasound, as per ISO 9712 (preferable).
