Job Description:

The Operations team is part of the Chief Operating Office, Canadian Personal Banking, that enhance and enriches how we support our customers by delivering specialized and advisory customer and partner support. The Canadian Personal Banking Operations team is comprised of Lending, Credit Practice Management, Fulfillment, Banking Operations, Estates Services, and Production Support.

As data's role in providing extraordinary products and services to our customers grows, we'll look to the valued expertise you'll provide in this role, to develop, adopt and evolve the best in class customer centric scorecards and culture of performance within Banking Operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Analysis: Collect, process, and analyze data related to the organization's performance, including financial, operational, and customer data. Utilize various analytical tools and methodologies to extract meaningful insights from data sets.
  • Performance Optimization: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop strategies and recommendations for improving performance and efficiency. Assist in the implementation of process improvements and performance optimization initiatives.
  • Performance Metrics: Define and monitor on key performance indicators (KPIs) across different departments and processes. Identify deviations from targets and collaborate with relevant teams to address performance gaps.
  • Visualization: Prepare performance insights and adoption dashboards for management and stakeholders. Communicate findings and insights effectively through data visualization and presentations.
  • Trend Analysis: Monitor industry trends and competitive benchmarks to identify opportunities and threats and build strategic performance evolution framework to improve performance.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest analytical techniques and tools to enhance the quality of performance ecosystem framework and strategic analysis.

Qualifications:

  • Understand key business drivers, definitions, and metrics in order to interpret findings, take action and provide relevant direction via Performance Eco System framework
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Lead the implementation of initiatives in support of overall business/function strategy.
  • Proven experience in data analysis, performance measurement, or related roles.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good understanding of Lean & Six Sigma.
  • Excellent communication and presentation and storytelling abilities based on data.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently as well as in a team.
  • Knowledge of industry-specific performance metrics and benchmarks is a plus.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Microsoft Excel, SQL, Tableau, Power BI and industry standard data visualization tools.
