We are looking for a Senior Business Systems Analyst based in Toronto to join our team to help deliver scalable, modern solutions that support colleagues and stakeholders across multiple regions. This is an opportunity to be a part of a high-impact engineering team while working in clos partnership with global peers in key locations including Toronto, New York, Dublin and India.

Team & Role Summary

The TDS CRM Technology team is responsible for delivering and supporting the strategic CRM platforms and client intelligence capabilities used across Research and Capital Markets.

We are seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst to partner with business stakeholders, product owners, developers, and data teams to define and deliver CRM capabilities that improve client intelligence, workflow efficiency, reporting, and decision-making. The successful candidate will play a key role in translating business needs into actionable requirements while supporting CRM modernization, data initiatives, and AI-enabled solutions.

The successful candidate will act as the bridge between business and technology teams by defining requirements, analyzing processes and data, managing delivery priorities, and driving the successful implementation of CRM, data, analytics, and AI capabilities that support Research and Capital Markets users.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with business stakeholders to understand strategic objectives, pain points, and opportunities for CRM process improvement.

  • Elicit, document, and manage business, functional, and non-functional requirements for CRM applications and related initiatives.

  • Develop user stories, process flows, business rules, use cases, and acceptance criteria to support Agile delivery teams.

  • Analyze CRM data, workflows, and system integrations to identify opportunities for automation, efficiency, and improved user experience.

  • Collaborate with development teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.

  • Support onboarding and analysis of CRM datasets within enterprise data platforms and analytics solutions.

  • Work with stakeholders to prioritize delivery roadmaps, manage backlogs, and ensure alignment with business objectives.

  • Coordinate testing activities, including user acceptance testing (UAT), defect management, and production readiness reviews.

  • Support AI and automation initiatives through requirements analysis, use case definition, and business process redesign.

  • Participate in production support, issue resolution, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives across the CRM platform.

Required Qualifications / Experience

  • 7+ years of Business Systems Analysis, Product management, or related experience.

  • Proven experience delivering enterprise applications and technology solutions in complex business environments.

  • Strong requirements gathering, business process analysis, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Experience writing user stories, process flows, use cases, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria.

  • Strong SQL skills and ability to analyze data to support business requirements and testing activities.

  • Experience working with CRM platforms such as Prism, Salesforce or similar solutions.

  • Experience working within Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies.

  • Strong facilitation, communication, and presentation skills.

  • Experience of working directly with business stakeholders and technology teams.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Knowledge of AI, Generative AI, and workflow automation use cases, experience supporting AI-related initiatives

Preferred Qualifications / Experience

  • Experience in Capital Markets, Investment Banking, Research, Sales & Trading, or Financial Services.

  • Experience supporting CRM, client intelligence, relationship management, or revenue management platforms.

  • Experience working with Databricks, Snowflake, enterprise data platforms, or analytics solutions.

  • Experience supporting data sourcing, data governance, data quality, and reporting initiatives.

  • Experience with API integrations and system integration projects.

  • Familiarity with Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, and Agile planning tools.

  • Strong understanding of data-driven decision-making and operational reporting.
