Role Details:

Reporting toDirector & Senior Manager-in the TDS Data Management Office, Manager- Data Management will be responsible forsupporting theToolingimplementationfor alldatamanagementactivitiesfor TD Securities.

PrimaryToolsof interestinclude the Collibra Data Intelligence Platform(CDIP)and Collibra Data Quality & Observability (DQ&O)module.

Job Accountabilities:

Data Governance & Metadata Management

  • Data Governance & Standards Adherence: Ensurecompliancewith Enterprise Data ManagementStandards bysupporting theCollibratooling implementationfor variousTDS/Enterprise-wide initiatives

  • Manage & supportthe Collibra Data Intelligence Platform(CDIP)bycataloging Business/Technical Metadataand the associatedData Lineageacross the Data Supply Chain

  • Support data modernization and cloud migration initiatives through lineage and metadata managementactivities

  • Lead thePOCs/exploratoryuse caseswith various business & technical stakeholdersandshowcasetheplatform capabilities& the associated business valueto Senior Management

Data Quality & Observability

  • Design, develop, and maintainDataQualityRules, scorecards, and monitor frameworks using Collibra Data Quality & Observability.

  • Implement automated controls for completeness, accuracy, consistency, timeliness, uniqueness, and validity of enterprise data.

  • Configure anomaly detection, observability metrics, alerting mechanisms, and proactive issue resolution processes.

  • Analyze data quality trends and coordinate remediation activities with business and technology teams.

  • Develop dashboards and reporting capabilities to track data health and governance metrics.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Collaborate with Data Owners, Data Stewards, Data Custodians, Architects, and Engineering teamsfor Regulatory/Business critical initiativesand promoteplatform adoption

  • Facilitate workingsessionsand stakeholder workshopstotrain users

  • Provide guidance and training on Collibra capabilities and governance processes.

Requirements

  • University or post-graduate degree; professional data management designation would be considered an asset.

  • Collibra University certifications

  • Total 7+ years of experience

  • 5+yearsexperiencein Collibra implementations across the Collibra Intelligence Platform and Collibra Data Quality & Observability modules

  • Expertiseinconfiguring metadata ingestion, lineage,building customworkflows,curatingbusiness glossaries, andconfiguringgovernance operating modelsin Collibra.

  • Strong understanding of data profiling, data quality rule development, and observability concepts.

  • Experience implementing federated governance and data quality operating models

  • Experience integrating Collibra with enterprise platformslike Databricks, DREMIO, Power BI

  • Effectiveverbal & written communication

  • Ability to work collaboratively and build relationshipswithin & across teams

  • Ability to analyze, organize and prioritize work while meeting multiple deadlines

  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
