Department Overview

TD Securities Prime Brokerage Technology Support is responsible for the operational stability, support, and continuous improvement of critical Prime Brokerage, Securities Finance, and client-facing technology platforms. The team works closely with Trading, Operations, Risk, Client Services, Infrastructure, Application Development, and external vendors to ensure the timely processing of trades, client reporting, file transfers, reconciliations, and business-critical workflows

Position Summary

We are seeking a Technology Support Analyst to join our Prime Brokerage Technology Support team. This role is responsible for monitoring, troubleshooting, and supporting a variety of business-critical applications and processes that enable Prime Brokerage, Securities Finance, and related business functions.

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced production support environment, partnering with business users, developers, infrastructure teams, and external vendors to resolve incidents, manage operational risk, automate manual processes, and improve service reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide production support for Prime Brokerage and Securities Finance applications.
• Monitor application health, scheduled jobs, file transfers, and data processing workflows.
• Investigate and resolve production incidents and service disruptions.
• Coordinate with development, infrastructure, vendor, and business teams during issue resolution.
• Analyze logs, system alerts, and monitoring data to identify root causes.
• Support client onboarding activities, application access requests, and operational readiness reviews.
• Develop and maintain support documentation, runbooks, knowledge articles, and recovery procedures.
• Participate in system change implementations, releases, and weekend support activities as required.
• Identify opportunities to automate support processes through scripting and tooling.
• Ensure incidents, problems, and service requests are managed in accordance with established support processes and audit requirements.
• Participate in production support rotations and escalation coverage.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Experience supporting business-critical applications in a production environment.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Experience working with Windows and Linux environments.
• Knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
• Experience with scripting or automation technologies such as PowerShell, Python, or shell scripting.
• Understanding of file transfer technologies including SFTP/FTP.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting capital markets, Prime Brokerage, Securities Finance, Trading, or Operations platforms.
• Familiarity with job scheduling tools such as AutoSys.
• Knowledge of application monitoring platforms such as Dynatrace, Splunk, or similar tools.
• Experience supporting FIX connectivity, market data, trade processing, or financial messaging workflows.
• Understanding of incident management, problem management, and change management processes.

The Senior IT Support Analyst provides a broad range of systems / application support, research and analysis, administration, performance availability monitoring and management for own area.

Depth & Scope:

• Works independently in a senior/lead role on a diverse range of tasks and may be relied upon to coach/ educate others
• Acts as subject matter expert and consults with clients, team, and/or project team to provide technical guidance and highly complex troubleshooting/problem resolution
• Leads the support of highly complex and/or comprehensive applications/systems and/or business lines
• Identifies root causes and implements targeted and controlled remediation plans
• Administers business applications in co-ordination with appropriate stakeholders
• Reviews, participates and implements procedures
• Researches industry standards, best practices and new innovations in technology and makes recommendations
• Designs, reviews, and integrates all application requirements, including functional, security, integration, performance, quality, and operations

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree or Technical Certificate required or work experience equivalent to Bachelor's degree
• 5+ years' experience
