TD SYNNEX is an American technology distributor formed in 2021 by merging Tech Data with SYNNEX, and it is one of the two companies through which most of the world's technology hardware and software reaches resellers and end customers. Its business is enormous in revenue and thin in margin: it buys from thousands of manufacturers, warehouses and finances the inventory, and sells onward to hundreds of thousands of resellers who lack the scale to deal with vendors directly. Headquartered in Clearwater, Florida and Fremont, California and listed on the New York Stock Exchange, it also assembles data centre systems through its Hyve division.

About the Role

TD SYNNEX is seeking a driven and experienced Manager, Depot Repair Operations to lead our depot repair and production services organization. In this critical leadership role, you will oversee daily repair operations, drive operational excellence, and ensure the successful delivery of customer commitments while maintaining the highest standards of quality, productivity, safety, and service.

Reporting to the Director of Depot Services, you will be responsible for leading teams, optimizing operational performance, and developing strategies that improve efficiency, customer satisfaction, and business results. You will serve as a key operational leader, partnering across multiple functions to ensure repair services are delivered effectively and aligned with organizational goals.

This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on operations leader who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys solving complex challenges, and is passionate about developing people while driving continuous improvement.

What You’ll Do

Operational Leadership

  • Lead and manage all day-to-day depot repair and production operations.

  • Drive achievement of key performance indicators (KPIs), including quality, cost, productivity, turnaround time, customer satisfaction, and on-time delivery.

  • Develop and execute operational plans that support customer commitments and business objectives.

  • Monitor operational performance and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, and service levels.

  • Ensure optimal utilization of employees, equipment, systems, and facility resources.

People Leadership & Team Development

  • Establish clear performance expectations and accountability measures.

  • Support hiring, onboarding, training, performance management, employee development, and succession planning activities.

  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and collaborative workplace culture.

  • Promote employee engagement, teamwork, and continuous learning.

Process Improvement & Business Optimization

  • Analyze operational data and performance metrics to identify trends and improvement opportunities.

  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives that enhance operational effectiveness and customer experience.

  • Implement best practices that improve safety, quality, productivity, and cost management.

  • Drive root-cause analysis and corrective actions for operational challenges.

Cross-Functional Partnership

  • Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, Customer Service, Logistics, and other business partners to achieve shared objectives.

  • Communicate operational priorities, schedule changes, business updates, and performance results to stakeholders.

  • Prepare and deliver operational reports, presentations, and business reviews to leadership teams.

  • Serve as an escalation point for customer, operational, and employee-related issues.

Compliance & Safety

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, customer requirements, regulatory standards, and safety procedures.

  • Promote a culture of workplace safety and operational excellence.

  • Maintain confidentiality and uphold ethical business practices in all interactions.

What We’re Looking For

  • Associate degree required.

  • 5 to 8 years of experience in depot repair, manufacturing, production operations, electronics repair, logistics, distribution, or a related operational environment.

  • 3 to 5 years of direct people management experience leading operational teams.

  • Demonstrated experience managing performance through operational KPIs and service-level commitments.

  • Experience leading teams in fast-paced, customer-focused environments.

  • Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and decision-making skills.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

  • Strong organizational and project management capabilities.

  • Proficiency with business systems, Microsoft Office applications, and operational reporting tools.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across multiple functions.
