Job Summary**
Oversee and lead manufacturing operations, ensuring production targets are met efficiently and effectively while maintaining high quality standards and a safe working environment.
Job Responsibilities**
* Supervise, train, and motivate a team of manufacturing associates to achieve daily production goals.
* Monitor production processes, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions to improve efficiency and output.
* Ensure adherence to all safety protocols, quality control standards, and company policies.
* Schedule and assign work tasks, manage employee time and attendance, and conduct performance evaluations.
* Collaborate with other departments, such as engineering and quality assurance, to resolve production issues and implement process improvements.
* Maintain accurate production records, including output, scrap rates, and labor utilization.
* Conduct regular inspections of equipment and machinery to ensure proper functioning and identify maintenance needs.
* Troubleshoot production problems and implement solutions to minimize downtime.
* Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing practices.
Job Qualifications**
* Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
* 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or lead role.
* Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team.
* Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control, and safety regulations.
* Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Proficiency in using manufacturing software and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
* Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles is a plus.
