Hyve Solutions is seeking an experienced, hands-on, results-driven Warehouse Manager to lead all warehouse operations at our Olive Branch, Mississippi facility. This position is responsible for overseeing receiving, inventory control, material handling, shipping, safety compliance, and warehouse personnel while ensuring operational excellence in support of manufacturing and customer requirements.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in warehouse leadership within a manufacturing, distribution, or high-volume logistics environment and will be passionate about developing teams, improving processes, and driving performance.
Responsibilities:
- Direct and oversee the daily operation of the warehouse including receiving, storage, inventory control, material handling, and shipping activities.
- Lead and develop warehouse supervisors and team members through coaching, mentoring, training, and performance management.
- Ensure accurate inventory transactions and maintain high levels of inventory accuracy through cycle counts and audits.
- Develop schedules, staffing plans, and manpower requirements to support business needs and production demands.
- Monitor warehouse performance through established KPIs and implement corrective actions when necessary.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, quality, efficiency, and cost reduction.
- Coordinate with Supply Chain, Production, Planning, and Procurement teams to ensure material availability and timely shipment of products.
- Maintain compliance with all company policies, OSHA regulations, and safety requirements.
- Ensure efficient utilization of warehouse space, equipment, and resources.
- Manage inbound and outbound logistics activities, including carrier coordination and freight movement.
- Resolve operational issues in a timely and effective manner while exercising sound judgment within company policies and procedures.
- Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment focused on accountability, collaboration, and employee engagement.
- Prepare and present operational metrics, inventory reports, and performance updates to leadership.
- Support site-wide operational goals and strategic initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Logistics, Operations Management, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
- Minimum 5 years of warehouse leadership experience in a manufacturing, distribution, or logistics environment.
- Minimum 3 years of experience managing supervisors or large warehouse teams.
- Strong knowledge of inventory control, warehouse operations, and shipping/receiving processes.
- Experience with ERP and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Ability to analyze data and make informed operational decisions.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, or Six Sigma methodologies preferred.
- Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced team environment.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to regularly stand and walk throughout the warehouse and manufacturing environment.
- Ability to occasionally lift, push, and pull up to 40 pounds.
- Ability to bend, reach, stoop, and perform other physical activities associated with warehouse operations.
- Ability to work in varying warehouse and production conditions.
