We’re looking for a driven Business Development Manager to join our WA Sales team at our Perth Airport depot.
This is a true new business hunting role - you’ll build your own pipeline, open new doors, win new customers and grow long-term commercial relationships. You’ll have the autonomy to make things happen, backed by a recognised logistics brand and a high-performing sales team.
What you'll do
Hunt and win new business across WA through prospecting, cold calling, networking and lead generation
Build and manage a strong sales pipeline
Develop tailored transport and logistics solutions for customers
Build relationships with key decision-makers and senior stakeholders
Negotiate and close new business opportunities
Partner with internal teams to deliver a great customer onboarding experience
Manage sales activity, opportunities and pipeline through Salesforce
Identify market trends and new opportunities to drive growth
What you'll bring
Proven success in Business Development, Sales or new customer acquisition
A genuine passion for winning new business
Confidence in prospecting, cold calling and opening new opportunities
Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Resilience, drive and a results-focused mindset
Experience in freight, transport, logistics or supply chain is highly regarded
Current Driver’s Licence
Note: This role will involve regular travel to regional WA locations.
